Project Description
			Under a Homeland Security National Multiple Award Construction Contract (NMACC) administered by the U.S Coast Guard, Perini Management Services led a design-build team for this task-order to construct a hangar and underground utilities at Air Station Cape Cod. The hangar includes space for four aircraft, offices, personnel support areas, crew berthing and recreation facilities. Utilities include a 64 well geothermal system, a rainwater harvest system for gray water usage, and a 250,000-gallon underground water reservoir and pump house to meet the fire suppression requirements. Pavements include a 70,100 square foot concrete parking apron and three each 9,000 square feet concrete fuel revetments, access road and sidewalk.
