Perini Management Services was the prime contractor for the second phase of a multi-phase repair and renovation of the USAF Academy Cadet Fieldhouse. The project included phased renovations to the hockey & basketball arenas (including replacing the basketball court surface), supporting spaces on the participant and spectator levels (new ticket office), installation of fire suppression systems, mechanical upgrades to the refrigeration chillers, and central and west mechanical room renovations, locker room renovations, and anti-terrorism upgrades to the building envelope. The Cadet Fieldhouse remains occupied and operational for sporting events, practices, and special events during construction. The project schedule has been carefully developed to execute work in phases, taking into consideration the various sports seasons, so as to minimize any impacts on athletes and fans.
