When the U.S. Department of State had an urgent need for facilities expansion and protection at regional embassy sites in Iraq, Perini Management Services was awarded the first task-order for the Consulate General in Basrah. We installed and repaired containerized housing units and protected them with anti-ballistic Overhead Coverage structures. We also constructed perimeter walls, guard booths and entry control facilities, as well as all associated infrastructure (water, power, site lighting, roadways, parking and helipad), a dog kennel with training yard and a vehicle maintenance structure.
