Perini Management Services replaced major mechanical and electrical systems in the Immigration Museum and several other buildings at Ellis Isand, which is part of the Statue of Liberty National Monument. The systems had been inundated by water during Hurricane Sandy, and the project scope included raising the new mechanical equipment onto platforms and relocating electrical equipment from the basement to higher floors. Perini provided temporary heating and cooling systems for the comfort of Park personnel and visitors during construction. We also provided a new Digital Direct Control System, new fire alarm devices and minor architectural upgrades.
