Union County Family Courthouse Completed

Perini turned over the new Union County Family Courthouse at a ribbon cutting ceremony on May 22nd. The 4-story building in Elizabeth City, New Jersey features a limestone and granite façade with a large skylight system over the main entrance. A high performance curtain wall with sunshades contributes to Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification. The interior features custom millwork, terrazzo floors and a large glass staircase affixed to the curtain wall. Perini completed the project to the client’s complete satisfaction following the termination of the original contractor, correcting many deficiencies to produce a high quality, fully functioning facility.
