Construction begins at Gateway National Recreation Area Sandy Hook Unit

Perini broke ground in early February for a National Park Services contract to construct new maintenance facilities within the historic Fort Hancock section of the Gateway National Recreation Area in New Jersey. The project consists of the renovation of two existing historic buildings to serve as a wood shop and administrative building, and new construction of an auto shop and parking/storage structure, along with extensive site work within the 7-acre area.
